Halloween

Halloween has arrived at Dalton mansion. The childhood memories and decorations were hung with great care, we lit the pumkins, the luminars in hopes that costumed trick or treaters would soon be there. And came they did in spooky attire "Trick or Treat" was all they said. ah but missed was the whisperings of Halloweens past. "witches, ghosts, pumpkins, bats ", however, we saw sights that would spook most anybody. Curtis used a few choice foul words on some old witch. She lifted her eyebrows and with an evil scowl she started to chant "fowl words fowl words returned to you" Poor Curtis has had a lot to cluck about ever since. The rest of us had to dress up for Halloween. Erika our new house guest decided to dress up as a Japanese lady, amazing. Meredith the zebra, and Carissa was Pebbles. We all had a wonderful time eating, chili, hotdogs, and drinking apple cider...

Grandma's Yard

Grandma is so excited about her newly finished yard that she is now directing the efforts in my yard! NO grandma NO,NO grandma I don't want my walkways done in grass. However her idea of putting grass under the twisting willow tree is a hit with the family WAY TO GO grandma. PS this project has been the fruition of many hours of hard work with the help of Philip WAY TO GO GANG

4th of July

We all gathered on the fourth of July for games, parade, a movie (WALL-E) and a BBQ. The ladies joined in the basketball game this time and were awesome. Afterwards we all (with the exception of Brian and Britnie) went to the fireworks at Davis High. We were all tired by the end of our very exciting day.

Maple Grove

This past weekend we went to Maple Grove. Grandma and Akimi came and we all piled into Curtis's red truck and went down. We had lots of fun. We went fishing (Akimi loved it and she caught her first fish), I went into the swimming hole and earned myself $5, and we even saw a rattle snake. Grandma and Mom really enjoyed the songs we sang around the campfire.... okay we ALL really enjoyed it. It was really fun though.

Hey! This is Meredith! Nothing has been happening much here with the family. Carissa has gone to Vernal for the summer, so I am very bored. Mom and Dad are working just like always, and I am doing homework almost non-stop.
